Pastor Linda L. Smith is the Senior Pastor of Gates of Praise Church.
Pastor Linda L. Smith was ordained as Elder September 14, 2003 and June 3, 2012 as Senior Pastor of Gates of Praise Christian Church. Pastor Linda is a anointed teacher, preacher, counselor, instructor, exhorter, intercessor, soul winner and minister of the Word of God. In 1981, Pastor Linda L. Smith committed her life to Jesus and never looked back. Pastor Linda has served in following up, youth leader, college ministry, new converts, door to door witnessing, nursing home ministry ,Sunday school teacher and church administrator.
In June 2016, 
Pastor Linda graduated from Northeastern Regional Bible College in Biblical Studies continuing in Christian counseling and Master of Divinity with concentration in Pastoral Studies. Pastor Linda received various certifications from various bible colleges. Also, Pastor Linda is the treasurer and a member of God's General, INC, which her late husband, Pastor Archie L. Smith was the founder and visionary. Pastor Linda is a member of CAPS International Fellowship, INC under the leadership of Bishop J. Phillip Betts.
Also, Pastor Linda received a Bachelor of science in Accounting from North Carolina Central University. With over 25 years of experience in Auditing, Hospital Accounting and business investments with countless awards, designations, Pastor Linda continues to sit on various boards. Pastor Linda L. Smith is gifted and talented as a financial counselor, Business Entrepreneur, Marketing director and Executive administrator.
Pastor Linda was married to her best friend, love of her life, Senior Pastor Archie Smith of Gates of Praise Christian Church for thirty two (32) years and has five beautiful adult daughters and six grandchildren. Pastor Archie Smith was the founder and visionary of Gods Generals, Inc. Pastor Archie L. Smith was promoted to his heavenly home but touched countless lives through his ministry of thirty one years. Pastor Archie L. Smith is gone but not forgotten.
